Montpellier is the second biggest city in Occitanie, after Toulouse. Its historic heart dates back to the 10th century and its medical school is one of the oldest still active in Europe. It’s now the fastest growing city in France in terms of inhabitants and students. Its white limestone paved streets and architecture attract and refract light making it a luminous Mediterranean shooting location, with white sand beaches just 30 minutes away.
Producers visit, day 1
In Montpellier, the producers had a private guided tour of the 19th century Opera House and of the top of the Triumphal Arch overlooking the Peyrou Gardens. The visit was followed by a cocktail with city officials and a dinner at the Petit Jardin restaurant.
